Parish Priest

 

 

Father Anthony Cogliolo was ordained in 1969 at St. Paul’s Outside the Walls, Rome after studying for the priesthood at the Beda College, Rome 1965-1969.

He returned to the Diocese of Shrewsbury and served as Assistant Priest in Bromborough, Altrincham, New Brighton, between 1969 and 1980

He then served as Parish Priest in Tarporley, Romiley, Ashton-on-Mersey and Weaverham before his appointment to Wilmslow on the 2nd September, 2005

Fr. Cogliolo has the following degrees: B.A.(Politics and Modern History)  M.A. (Theology) and has recently been awarded a Doctorate in Religious Studies by the University of Wales.

 

 

 

Deacon Michael Cafferata lives near Congleton.  He is married with two grown-up children and he works part-time in Cheadle.  He has been a Deacon for ten years, previously serving in Sandbach.  He was appointed to St. Teresa’s in November 2010.  

Deacon Michael is the Squadron Chaplain for the Air Training Corp and R.C. Representative on the Corps.  Chaplain's Committee
